Statement on 2020 Season and COVID-19 (corona virus)

March 20, 2020

As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic develops, the J.L. Hutchinson League is taking into consideration city, state, federal, and Little League guidance for the health and safety of our players, families, volunteer coaches, and staff.

Considering that guidance is rapidly changing, we are waiting to make a final determination regarding our 2020 season.  If conditions are favorable for the 2020 season to start, we will not begin activities before May 11th.  We understand that some may be waiting to register until more is known about the pandemic.  Therefore, our registration will remain open throughout April.

Our league skills clinic that was originally scheduled for April 5, is cancelled.

If the determination is made that our season cannot proceed due to the pandemic, we will communicate the decision through our website, Facebook, and by email to our registrants. Full refunds will be issued to those already registered.  We appreciate the support and enthusiasm of our players, fans, and sponsors.  We appreciate your patience while we work through this difficult time.
